This week and next week, the 4th through 8th graders are presenting a country that they chose from all over the World. Same have already presented their counties to classmates and teachers. We have tried amazing, delicious traditional foods and have gained so much knowledge. We are looking forward to the others doing their presentations. Everyone is paying careful attention because we are being tested. Wish us luck.

Next term, the middle school sewing group will be making "raggedy quilts" to donate to the Mt. Nittany Medical Center. Child size and adult throw size flannel quilts will be created for sick children and for adult cancer patients. Donations of cotton flannel fabric in fun prints, one yard or longer, to assist with this project would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ~Chris Carrere Thank you for the donation of jugs, we do not need anymore. All of our students have had the opportunity to do "wintersowing" with the Penn State Master Gardners and Milo's dad. We look forward to watching the seed grow, which will be used to plant a Satellite Butterfly Garden in our front yard this spring. :)Nittany Valley Charter School is participating in the community project "Out of the Cold". |
