This week and next week, the 4th through 8th graders are presenting a country that they chose from all over the World. Same have already presented their counties to classmates and teachers. We have tried amazing, delicious traditional foods and have gained so much knowledge. We are looking forward to the others doing their presentations. Everyone is paying careful attention because we are being tested. Wish us luck.

Nittany Valley Charter School is participating in the community project "Out of the Cold".
During the winter months, different area churches take turns hosting the homeless
and serving a warm dinner meal. NVCS teacher, Joyce Kreuter, has graciously donated the supplies needed to have her classes prepare two of these meals. On Thursday, February 4, the middle school social studies class is providing the meal that they have prepared together. Next Thursday, the 4th and 5th grade social studies classes will have a turn preparing the meal that will be served on Thursday, February 11.

Lastly, we have had a lot of sickness going around our school, like the flu, bronchitis and even pneumonia. We appreciate it when you are able to keep sick kids home. New fashion trend?
