Happy Earth Day! We collected 10 pounds of trash on our walk to Orchard Park and then had some great fun playing there. Check it out:Half-way done with the PSSA testing :)Students in grades 4-8 began a new social studies unit on Conflict & Cooperation. Students put their heads together to practice conflict resolution. NVCS Former and Current Students Taking Gold and Other Awards at the Special Olympics! Will won the Spirit Award!
"Trot to the Top" for our 5K registration is being tracked and graphed by class to win a trip to the PSU Creamery for the most money raised. :)We survived a wet and muddy hike at Bear Meadows last Friday, and still had fun! Students are measuring shadows and setting up proportions to calculate the height of very tall objects. A new "Camping" bucket for STAR cards has been added for those students in grades 3-8 who want to earn a camping trip at Carolyn's farm on Thursday, May 26th. More details coming... |
