Wheels Day Fun!

Next Friday, the younger grades will be hiking at Canoe Creek State Park while the older grades wisit the Allegheny Portage Museum.

The older grades really enjoyed the performance of Cirque Eloize Saloon at Eisenhower Auditorium on Wednesday. Later in the year, the younger grades will get to go see A Year with Frog and Toad.

Shannon and Verna's classes were super helpers last Friday when they composted all of the pine-cones, acorns, and pine needles from the school's front yard!

Vinnie and Oscar took a trip to see the RBR Recumbent Bike Shop up the street. It was cool.

Verna's science class was excited to view water samples from Carolyn's ponds, and to see what was growing under a microscope!

Next Friday we are going to map the property at Carolyn's Farm with a parent Cartographer!

We learned a lot surveying different eco-systems at Carolyn's Farm, and enjoyed a lot of "firsts"! :)

Next week the older grades go on a bike ride of the Lower Trail, and the younger grades will enjoy Wheels Day at school. Remember to bring helmets!

Next week:
​Upper Grades will go to Canal Park in Lewistown for a hike.
Lower Grades will stay at school and help in the garden.
