The walking tour of Boalsburg was great!
​The Heritage Museum  showed us what it was like to live in the 1800's, and boy was it more difficult! And the tour of the Boalsburg Fire Station was a big splash! 😊

Soil Scientists!

The Penn State Arboretum was a fun filled field trip! 

Picture Forms are coming home on Friday! GoPhoto professional photographers will be taking our school pictures on Thursday, 9/30.

This Friday, we will go on a walking tour of Historic Boalsburg. It will be a little chilly, so wear layers and comfy walking shoes.

Last Thursday at Carolyn's Farm, the big kids did some excavating to learn about the soil. They cooked their own hot dogs over the fire, and had some fun playing too!

Then on Friday, we all enjoyed a hay ride and a tour of  Peachy's Laurel Run Dairy Farm.
​The brand new baby calf was so cute that some students reported not even minding the smell that much! We also had a great time exploring the pond.

We have had a great start to the 21-22 school year! 😊 Tomorrow is our first field trip. Always remember to have a snack, a lunch, and a refillable water bottle. Old sneakers are usually best, as long as they are comfortable for walking, and dress in layers.
