NVCS is participating in the Easter Seals Million Pennies Campaign. Students are learning that small change can make a big difference in the lives of those with disabilities. Please send in pennies to contribute. Thanks!

The older students created stations for the younger students to learn about the different ways fossils are formed.  Science is cool!

Report Cards are coming home with your child this Friday. Please check their backpack.

Another Twin Sighting!

Penn's Cave Tour

We enjoyed the Legend of Penn's Cave Play as presented by Mike and our Kindergarten Class

Thank you to the Centre County Commissioners who visited our 1-3rd  graders: Steve Dershem, Michael Pipe, and Mark Higgins. We really learned a lot about their jobs in local government!

Friday will be our last field trip of the calendar year! We will be going fossil hunting a Greenwood Furnace and then to Carolyn's Farm for a cookout. Hot dogs, apples, and hot cocoa will be provided for lunch. Please pack a lunch if you do not eat those things or want to cook your own hot dog! 
   No school Wednesday, 11/22 - Monday, 11/27

Tomorrow is picture re-takes.
You may still order a picture package if you had not already or missed picture day.  Some classroom pictures will be re-done tomorrow as well because of absences.

We are eating our lunch outside after our boat tour of the cave, and it will be chilly.

​of 20 degrees outside.)
