We Still Need Donations!

We are still collecting donations for our annual holiday store.  On Friday, December 19th, from 9-12, students will be able to shop at our holiday store for gifts for their family (we even gift wrap!)  Students really look forward to this event! We still need donations of new and gently used items for all ages to include at our store, and volunteers to help set up and operate the store.  Please help make this a fun event for our children.
 Also, don't forget to send money in with your child next Friday so they can shop.

Reading buddies goes on tour, spreading good cheer.

Last Friday a group of students traveled to a local retirement home, books in hand, and shared reading time with a few of the residents.  Thank you to Carolyn for organizing.  It was so enjoyed by students and residents alike that another group is traveling there today.  

Getting ready for the holidays

 The anticipation of a holiday break affects all of us a little differently.

Some of us will just break into a happy dance without warning.

Some of us just high five for what seems like no reason.

Some of us hug our friends a little tighter because we will miss them.

Some of us can not contain the wild things inside of us.

OK, I had fun doing it more than once. (Ha ha)

Some of us are already on break.

Some of us spread joy and excitement.

Some of us just jump.

Some of us are...OK, I have not idea what he is doing, but he seems excited.

Some of us are so distracted that they are easily frightened by a photographer hiding in the closet. (Tee Hee Hee)
